The MC 4.0 DEvelopment & Application Centers

DEA centers are local centers of excellence established to support smart SMEs that want to improve their ability to provide personalized answers to customers, using in product MC 4.0 levers; in particular product configurators allow companies to pre-define the customization options of a product / solution, reduce costs at commercial and production level, maintain quality and thus fully exploit the potential for creativity and innovation that SMEs are capable of and that their target sectors need.

‍Mission:
Increase the level of knowledge of SMEs about MC 4.0 and support SMEs in using MC 4.0 tools to become more competitive. Support SMEs in accessing funding for the implementation of MC 4.0 tools.

Action Plan:
Aggregation of competencies in MC 4.0 and transfer them to SMEs through initiatives such as:

▪ communication events (social media, newsletters, press releases, website)
▪ face-to-face and remote demonstrations for SMEs
▪ external and internal training for SMEs
▪ technological and management support
▪ development of tools to promote the introduction of MC 4.0 systems
▪ information retrieval in the field of MC 4.0
▪ promotion and qualification of new specialists

Development of a local cluster of SMEs interested in and / or already involved in MC 4.0 applications and researchers / developers / providers of MC 4.0 solutions
